I have a passion for working with individuals and organisations so that they can increase their personal effectiveness, which in turn increases results and profits. I aim to motivate and inspire all those I come into contact with my "can-do" attitude and encouraging approach, which helps others strengthen their belief in themselves and their abilities, enabling them to accelerate their successes in life.
For over 15 years I was joint owner of two successful businesses. So I know what it's like to be in a highly pressured environment, working to tight deadlines and budgets whilst remaining totally client focused. Before setting up Advance Coaching Consultants I worked in education as a teacher and a performance coach at a private business college in Cambridge. I still teach Business Communication and Entrepreneurship to Pre-Master students at EF University Preparation, Cambridge and have recently completed workshops in increasing personal effectiveness with Leaders and Managers at the Cambridge Judge Business School. Earlier in the year I ran Business Communications workshops at the Institute Of Directors (IOD) at the Pall Mall Branch in London enabling the delegates to increase team and individual communication skills.
I have a Diploma in Coaching and I am a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming. I have a B.A. (Hons) in English, a Postgraduate Certificate of Education and a Masters in Applied Linguistics. I am also a qualified practitioner in the Thomas Disc performance system which enables teams and individuals to find out what motivates them within a group and individually.
Through my coaching I have helped clients to increase their confidence, motivation, self-esteem, performance skills and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. This has had a knock of effect for their businesses by increasing results and ultimately profits.
I am passionate that people can be the best that they can be, in whatever field they choose. I have an unwavering conviction that we can all change habits that are not working for us to habits that do. I impart this passion in my coaching sessions with 100% commitment and dedication to my clients.
I love a challenge which takes me into my stretch zone and in September 2010 trekked to Everest Base Camp. I have also completed charity cycle rides in Cuba (January 2005) and Vietnam (November 2006) both over 300 miles long in 5 days of cycling. The money was raised for The National Deaf Children's Society and the mental health charity MIND. I now help raise money for MAGPAS - an organisation helping to save lives everyday. A large chunk of the profit from my workshops will go to this good cause. So not only will you be investing in yourself and increasing your results - you'll be helping to save lives too.
It is an amazing feeling when you can put something back in society to help other people. If you have any questions please email or call me. I look forward to hearing from you.
